APEDA’s BHARATI Programme Empowers Startups to Scale Agri-Food Exports

The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has successfully concluded the first cohort of the BHARATI Programme, a flagship initiative aimed at accelerating innovation-led growth in India's agri-food exports. The programme focuses on nurturing startups, entrepreneurs, and innovators to develop export-oriented solutions across the agri-food value chain.

 

The inaugural cohort brought together participants working on cutting-edge technologies, value addition, sustainability, supply chain efficiency, and market access. By fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, the BHARATI Programme seeks to enhance the global competitiveness of Indian agri-food products, strengthen the export ecosystem, and support the country's vision of becoming a leading exporter of high-value agricultural and processed food products.
